<reviewbody>A lot of these in the first set (60s and 70s) are relatively brief excerpts of TV audio--NOT radio. Some are cut off in the middle. The bulk of the JFK assasination recordings are NBC TV audio</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>As I was born in 1957, I am old enough to remember when many of the sounds that came from radio actually did come from television. There was hardly any difference in the dialog used for radio and television. For such national calamities as the JFK and RFK assassinations, the radio networks mirrored TV. OTR collectors who criticize this difference are probably alluding to the recording offered by some websites (http://www.otrcat.com/, for example) which use the coverage of President Kennedy's murder provided by radio station KLIF in Dallas. KLIF was not associated with a television station and it was markedly different. Most people in the United States at that time didn't hear what came from KLIF. They heard NBC or CBS. It would be good to hear how Mutual covered these events, since Mutual was a radio-only network. ABC's news was mediocre at best (oh, but they had a good sounder!) </reviewbody>
